Marjorie Sarnat's calling as an artist was evident from a young age. "I was enchanted by drawings of all kinds". I collected old storybooks that neighbours discarded and practised the drawing styles in them.
Years later I followed my dream and became a professional illustrator. Majorie's style is highly detailed and imaginative with a love of combining the comfort of traditional subjects with the surprise of decorative design. Majorie works in a variety of media including watercolours, acrylics, oil paints and colouring pencils. Her series Colour Magic features four titles: Best Friends, Bird of Paradise, Crescent Moon and Mother & Child.
