ACQUISITION ANNOUNCEMENT

On the 16th of January, 2026, Let’s Play Games acquired 100% of the shares of the Melbourne based puzzle and game distributor, Jedko Games.

The Jedko brand will remain extant and the Jedko sales, marketing, procurement, and administrative teams will continue in their roles. Jedko’s managing director, Drew Fyfe, will provide transition and consultation services to the business throughout 2026 and 2027.

Retailers will continue to be able to place orders for Jedko products on jedko.com.au and through the Jedko sales team. Existing Let’s Play Games customers will also be able to access the full Jedko product range on letsplaygames.com.au.

Jedko’s inventory will be moved into Let’s Play Game’s Sydney based distribution facility during the week starting the 19th of January. Dispatch of Jedko’s orders and product range will begin out of Sydney on the 27th of January coinciding with the deployment of a new jedko.com.au website. Jedko’s Melbourne facility will remain operational as an office for Jedko and Let’s Play Games staff.

"I am honoured for Let’s Play Games to acquire Jedko. Over the past twenty years I have purchased from Jedko as a retailer and then later competed with them as a distributor and in every interaction my respect for them has only grown.

As a competing distributor, I have been especially struck by the deep regard that publishers have for Jedko. Drew has done an exceptional job building deep relationships with his publishing partners by relentlessly focussing on securing the best outcomes for their brands and products in the Australian market.

In my initial discussions with Drew, we both remarked on the complementary natures of Let’s Play Games and Jedko and as my understanding of the Jedko operation has deepened over the past few months, I’ve become more convinced of this. Working together, the results delivered by Let’s Play Games and Jedko for publishers and retailers will be greater than the sum of our parts."

Scott Hunstad - Managing Director of Let's Play Games

"It has been my honour and privilege during the nearly 40 years that I have been at Jedko Games, to work with some of the nicest and finest people in our trade. I have been blessed with some amazing sales, office, and warehouse staff over the years; a great number of wonderful suppliers both international and local; and even competitors - many of whom we ended up dealing with, becoming part of our overall success.

When Let's Play Games first approached us, I almost discounted the idea as I had done with several similar from others in the past few years. However, interest from a company the size and prestige of Let's Play Games was very flattering, then in talking to Scott and some of his team, I was not only impressed by the passion that they had for the business, but it was also obvious that they would be a good fit for Jedko moving forward, as the two companies' many and various ranges would be very much complimentary.

Their desire to keep Jedko Games running as its own entity moving forward the way they are doing with Holdson in New Zealand was the final deciding factor, as I saw that as very important for not only our staff, but also our suppliers and customers. Let's Play Games' significant additional resources will give Jedko an enormous boost, and I look forward to a very exciting future for both companies."

Drew Fyfe - Managing Director of Jedko Games
