JVH OLDTIMERS GO FORTH! 1000pc

The first large illustration by Jan van Haasteren dates back to 1975. The Shooting Pool drawing created a high demand for this type of advertising posters. The posters were very popular, and in 1980, Jumbo decided to release one as a jigsaw puzzle. This turned out to be a great success, making Shooting Pool the founding puzzle of the now-famous puzzle brand. With the Oldtimers series, we look back at the early period of Jan van Haasteren jigsaw puzzles. Its a little bit of nostalgia and, above all, a tribute to the incredible craftsmanship of Jan van Haasteren.
